To conclude the festival, let's go, like last year, to the ball!
What is music? An invitation to dance and get the appetite for life back!
A festival is a party and no party without dancing. At last year's ball, André Minvielle set our hearts and bodies on fire with the help of the Brazilian Fernando Cavaco.
This year, Fernando Cavaco is the master of ceremonies and offers a swirling dance between Sao Paulo, Cuba and Paris. He will call together the fervour of Rio's carnival, the power of Samba, of Son, of Maracatu, and will demonstrate his limitless imagination for a crucial melting pot!
Fernando Cavaco is a singer, composer and cavaquinho player. He lights up the Paris nights to the sound of Brasil with Roda do Cavaco and Orquestra do Fuba. A founding member of the Paris "Club du Choro", he also took part in the music of Màrcio Faraco, Fabianna Cozza, Jorge Humberto and Mayra Andrade...
Sons d'hiver goes into partnership with La Java and Son Libre (a collective led by saxophone player Alexandre Authelain and electro percussionist Cyril Hernandez).
