Patrick Fradet and Bertrand Manuel

This conference aims at showing several tangible examples and acquainting with the use of new technology in contemporary music and robotics. By mixing art and science, game and performance, feeling and knowledge, the dynamic processes of creation open an area of exchanges between technology and art, between man and machines.

With Patrick Fradet, guitarist, teacher at Edim, founder in 2010 of Ensemble Orkestronika and Bertrand Manuel, director of CRIIP, research laboratory in robotics at Cachan University.

"ORKESTRONIKA" RESIDENCE - "ROBOSONIK 2.0-Sons et Sens en Mutations”  

The Jacques Carat Theater of Cachan and Sons d’hiver Festival partnership presents "Orkestronika"*, a residence-creation launched at the start of Sons d’hiver 2017 and ending in autumn 2017 with a concert in Cachan. In Val-de-Marne region, the André Malraux Theater (Chevilly-Larue) and La Fabrique "Anis Gras" (Arcueil) also house an Orkestronika residence from autumn 2016 and through year 2017.
